Most IBC Totes are rated to stack 4 high when full, stack two high when full no problem just make sure they are on a concrete or asphalt foundation, 4000+ lbs. on the dirt is not a good idea.

Used IBC Tote Uses

IBC tanks are used for many popular DIY Re-purposing project since they can be used for almost anything. For example, you can cut a ibc in half and make it into a aquaponic system, or even into a miniature pond. They also provide a good water tank for live stock watering, rain water collection systems, water storage tank, and so many more ibc tank projects. Using your IBC for drinking water storage we recommend a New IBC or a Re-Bottled IBC tote.

For whatever reason you're using ibc totes, be sure to refer to these numbers and measure the space you intend to use for your projects. You'll always want to use the widest part of the ibc for your width measurement to ensure it will fit.

How we clean our used IBC totes

Our used IBC tanks are washed with the Gamma Jet IX IBC tote cleaning system that utilizes patented rotary impingement technology designed to blast residue from the container interior, in a precise, global indexing pattern. Our 100% guaranteed cleaning technology ensures the entire inside of the IBC container is thoroughly cleaned in the most efficient manner, utilizing the least amount of resources including: time, energy, and wash fluid. The previous contents for all our used totes where food ingredients. We do not use any chemicals to remove previous contents, odors or stains. We do not sanitize our used IBC tanks after washing. The outsides of all ibc tanks are hot water pressure washed and all labels removed. Our used food grade IBC totes cannot be reused any food products or food production applications, they may used for chemicals, dies, oils, paints, waste products, etc. The IBC totes are then pressure tested for leaks before shipping, all our used ibc tanks come complete with the top fill cap, discharge valves along with dust cap ready to refill and use for the listed above.

UN IBC tote is a certified IBC tote that companies use for shipping or storing chemicals like corrosives

The DOT requires hazardous, flammable, corrosive chemicals and others to be shipped in a UN rated container.
